"After a day off, the Blazers returned to practice Saturday to work on what coach Nate McMillan called "slippage" – the little things that might have slipped a bit during their current two-game losing streak.
As usual, the list of players who did not practice was long. Saturday's included rotation regulars Nicolas Batum (bruised knee), Wesley Matthews (sprained ankle) and Rudy Fernandez (ailing back), although none are expected to miss Tuesday's home game against San Antonio.
Center Marcus Camby also was in the building, running on the "Ultra G" rehabilitation treadmill. Camby had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee on Jan. 20, and the Blazers announced a three-week timetable for his return. McMillan said he would leave that up to the team's doctors.
"For me, I know he's going to be out for a period of time," McMillan said. "The good thing is he's moving, he's up moving around, and he's running (on the Ultra G)."
McMillan said it's not out of the question that Camby joins the team on the three-game road trip that comes after the Spurs game."
