Manchester United have been put on red alert by the news that Edinson Cavani is reportedly contemplating his future at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Uruguayan striker is said to be unhappy at coach Laurent Blanc's unwillingness to give him a run in his favoured position as a centre-forward.

Cavani is often deployed wide-right in a front three with Zlatan Ibrahimovic very much the main man at Parc des Princes.

The former Napoli man is preparing to leave the Ligue 1 champions this summer, and United are one of a number of clubs who are monitoring the situation.

According to Italian publication Calciomercato, Cavani is being tracked by AC Milan, Real Madrid and the Red Devils.
