The Uruguayan has become frustrated with being played out of position at Paris Saint-Germain but would fetch a huge sum.

Manchester United boss David Moyes has reportedly identified Edinson Cavani as the man he wants to head his summer overhaul at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are expected to bring in several new faces in the close season, with Bayern Munich's Toni Kroos thought to be considering a move.

Freiburg centre-back Matthias Ginter has also been scouted but the United support will be hoping for one star arrival this summer.

And according to Bild, that man could well be Paris Saint-Germain's Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan only moved to the Ligue 1 heavyweights last year but has become increasingly frustrated by being played out wide by boss Laurent Blanc.

The performances of team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic have prevented Cavani staking a claim in the main striker role and he continues to find himself in the shadow of the maverick Swede.
