The injury-ravaged Orlando Magic will have only a skeleton crew available for their game tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Power forward Aaron Gordon, who is recovering from a concussion he sustained Friday, remains in the NBA concussion protocol. Although Gordon hasn’t suffered any setbacks, he will not play tonight, team officials said.
Making matters worse, swingman Arron Afflalo has back spasms. Although team officials said Afflalo has a 50-50 chance of playing tonight, Afflalo indicated it seems unlikely he’ll be able to play against the Clippers.
Previous injuries already depleted the Magic. Swingman Evan Fournier and forward Jonathan Isaac are recovering from ankle sprains, and Terrence Ross has a right knee injury.
“We can’t do anything but try to respond,” center Nikola Vucevic said after the Magic completed their shootaround this morning.
