"This stretch of the Orlando Magic's schedule figured to challenge Jameer Nelson defensively.
It hasn't worked out that way.
Indiana Pacers PG Darren Collison sat out Saturday night's game against the Magic because of a sprained left ankle. Collison's injury left Nelson to defend a less dangerous offensive player, T.J. Ford.
Nelson said before the game that his approach wouldn't change.
"You've just got to go out there and be aggressive defensively and offensively," Nelson said.
On Thursday, Nelson's anticipated matchup against the Phoenix Suns' Steve Nash fizzled when Nash didn't play because of a groin injury."
