"Not talking today, guys," Magglio Ordonez said Sunday morning, after the Tigers' lineup was posted without his name on it.
His right ankle is sore - the ankle he broke last year - and Ordonez doesn't like talking about injuries.
But ankle soreness is part of the why Ordonez came out of Saturday's game when the Tigers trailed 10-3 in the sixth.
They eventually lost 10-6 to the Yankees, but after the game manager Jim Leyland explained it was a "combination of things" that knocked Ordonez out of the game.
Not just the soreness, in other words.
Or the lopsided score.
