"DeSean Jackson has at least one supporter in the Eagles' front office — the most important one.

Eagles chairman Jeffrey Lurie on Tuesday credited the maligned receiver for finishing the season strong after some on- and off-field issues from earlier this season.

He also said the two-time Pro Bowl receiver would be welcomed back under the right circumstances.

"Listen, DeSean is a terrific player, and I think his attitude and his whole approach in the last month of the season was terrific," Lurie said.

"High energy. I think he started to realize and get it."
