Roberto Luongo begins his second stint as the starter in Vancouver tonight when the Canucks host the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Arena.

Last season Luongo started the season as the backup to Cory Schneider awaiting a trade that would never materialize. Then at the NHL Draft in June the Canucks traded Schneider to the New Jersey Devils making Luongo the starter once again.

"I was kind of floored to be honest with you" Luongo told TSN's James Duthie about the trade. "Out of all the situations that I envisioned that wasn't one of them. I had moved on from Vancouver and I was ready to start a fresh new chapter of my career somewhere else.

"It felt like a divorce I accepted it and I had moved on personally. The only problem was she wanted me back."
