LSU guard and leading scorer Antonio Blakeney declared for the NBA Draft on Tuesday, which could leave new Tigers coach Will Wade with a bigger rebuilding job.

It was unclear from his announcement via Twitter whether Blakeney will hire an agent.

"It was a privilege to wear the Purple and Gold uniform alongside my teammates. It was an honor to battle with you each and every night," he wrote, in part.

A 6-4 sophomore, Blakeney averaged 17.2 points this season after arriving the previous season as Florida's Mr. Basketball and one of fired coach Johnny Jones' most heralded recruits in his five seasons at the helm.
