LSU junior Johnny O'Bryant may have had better weeks than last week. Not many, though.

The SEC noticed, naming the Tigers' 6-foot-9, 256-pound junior the Player of the Week.

In victories against Kentucky and Arkansas, O'Bryant scored 52 points and grabbed 18 rebounds, knocking down 23-of-36 floor shots. His 29 points against the Wildcats were his season high and the second most he has produced in a game.

O'Bryant leads LSU in scoring (15.8 points per game) and rebounding (7.5). He is shooting 53.2% (123-of-231) from the floor this season and is second on the team with 21 blocked shots.
