Brook Lopez would like to be part of the Nets' foundation as they move into their new digs in Brooklyn next season. But the fourth-year center knows whether that happens or not isn't totally up to him.

"I'd like to be there, but there's a lot of uncertainties," Lopez said after yesterday's practice. "So I don't know."

Almost all of those uncertainties surround the Nets' quest to pair their star point guard, Deron Williams, with the game's predominant big man, Dwight Howard. And whether the Nets are able to swing a trade for Howard during the season or sign him as a free agent during the summer, Lopez can't avoid being affected by it.
