Logan Couture hasn't missed a game for the San Jose Sharks this season. Through 43 games, the 24-year old forward has 14 goals and 35 points, good enough for fourth on the Sharks in scoring.
But news on Tuesday night revealed that Couture has been dealing with a hand injury for some time now and after surgery will miss at least 3-4 weeks.

Via CSN Bay Area:

The news is not a complete surprise, as Couture has lately missed several Sharks practices, including on Friday when he skated aggressively on his own but left before the team started drills. According to the source, he has been dealing with the hand issue for several weeks, and recently Couture was seen wearing a brace on his right hand/wrist area.
The battered Sharks see their injury list grow with Couture joining the likes of Tomas Hertl, Martin Havlat and Tommy Wingels among the wounded.

Couture is one of those players that many project to be a part of Canada's Olympic roster, which will be announced Tuesday morning. According to Bob McKenzie and Pierre LeBrun, the expectation is that he should be recovered by the time the Sochi Games come around.
