The agent of Liverpool target Keita Balde Diao claims the Reds will have to fork out £12.5million to land the exciting Lazio teenager.

Brendan Rodgers' scouts have been watching Diao this season and the Spanish-born Senegalese forward has made 16 Serie A appearances, scoring four goals.

Manchester City are also reportedly interested in the 19-year-old and his representative says the player would like to come to England one day.

However Ulisse Savani claims Lazio president Claudio Lotito would want at least €15 million or £12.5million for Diao.

Ulisse Savini told Radiosei: "If he was to leave Lazio, we will never find a club in Italy that will buy him, assuming the important figures that [Lazio president] Claudio Lotito would ask for.

"How much is he worth? If a say a price Lotito will contradict me. But at present, according to my judgment, he cannot be worth less than €15million.

"I think Keita would be fine with a future in English football. I think that it is much better there than in Germany, for example."

Lazio paid Barcelona just £250,000 for Keita in 2011 and are ready to open new contract talks to reward him for his progress this season.
