According to reports in Spain are keen on signing the left-back and have told the Spanish they're 'very keen' to kick start negotiations.

The 27-year-old has a release clause of £21m but the Spanish side will accept bid worth around £8m.

Siqueira recently spoke about his future adding the club denied league rivals Valencia the chance of signing him up last term.

He said: "I had a very good offer from Valencia last year and the club decided not to sell me.

"I simply told the club's president that if there is another offer this year that he should let me make my dream of playing for a big European club come true.

"He said yes that he would help me. And this is what's going on. If the offers that are coming are good for the club and for me I think it's the right moment to sell me."

Real Madrid are also thought to be interested but have so far made no offer to land the Brazilian.
