The Winnipeg Jets have signed restricted free-agent forward JC Lipon to a one-year, two-way contract worth US$650,000.

The 24-year-old from Regina played in 71 games for the AHL's Manitoba Moose last season and registered 30 points, including 12 goals, and added 129 penalty minutes. He made his NHL debut in 2015-16 and played nine games for the Jets, recording an assist and five penalty minutes.
