Hopefully this is the last time I refer to Titus Young as a Lions wide receiver. He is at it again, begging for the Lions to release him. He fired up his Twitter account Friday morning and began firing off dumb tweets again.

Here is the latest from Young.

"Oh, I'm not done. If y'all going to cut me let me go. I'm tired of the threats."

"Never needed the money. Give me a dollar and a ball bet I come back." #HallofFame.

Just an aside. The only way Young sniffs the Pro Football Hall of Fame is if he buys a ticket. He won't even make the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame.

Earlier, Young said he wanted the ball more or he wanted out. Lions coach Jim Schwartz admitted that this was not the smartest way to express himself. But Schwartz sounded soft. I know they will not trade or release him until at least after the Super Bowl, but the Lions appear soft behind the Young attacks.

And did I mention this was the same guy that punched teammate Louis Delmas, deliberately ran the wrong route during a game and spoke to the media in the dressing room wearing sunglasses?
