"It turns out, running back Ronnie Brown isn't a Lion after all.
The Lions said Wednesday night that the trade that sent Lions running back Jerome Harrison and a 2013 draft pick (believed to be a seventh-rounder) to the Eagles for Brown has been voided.
"I can confirm that our trade has been nullified or voided but have no further comment beyond that," Bill Keenist, Lions senior vice president of communications, told The Detroit News.
Harrison reportedly failed his physical with the Eagles, which is the last requirement for the trade to become official. The Lions never disclosed an injury to Harrison, who hasn't played since Sept. 25 against the Vikings.
Brown was in the Lions facility Wednesday but didn't participate in the portion of practice open to the media — he was taking his physical.
Lions coach Jim Schwartz avoided talking about the trade."
