Lions' Matthew Stafford goes bare-handed, but flags trump his effort

"No gloves, no problem.

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford got rid of the gauntlets on his hands for the first time in four games and had tremendous success generating offense in Sunday's 31-17 loss at New Orleans.

As the gloves came off and the yards piled up. Stafford ditched the gloves and the splint on his fractured right index finger that he broke when he was hit by Von Miller on Oct. 30 in a game against Denver. On Sunday, Stafford was 31-for-44 for 408 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He broke the 400-yard passing mark for the second time in his career."
