"Some things Lions coach Jim Schwartz will never get used to -- like seeing linebacker Keith Bulluck in a Giants uniform.

"You watch him on film, he looks different in that Giants uniform, but he's still playing good and still playing strong," Schwartz said Friday.

Bulluck is questionable to play against the Lions after missing the past two games with a toe injury, but he and Schwartz spoke highly of each other this week in anticipation of Sunday's reunion.

Schwartz and Bulluck spent nine seasons together in Tennessee. Schwartz was linebackers coach when the Titans drafted Bulluck in the first round in 2000, and defensive coordinator when Bulluck developed into one of the best linebackers in the NFL.

"We had a lot of success in Tennessee, and he was a big part of that," Schwartz said. "He was just so steady and such a rock. He never missed practice, he never missed games. I think he missed one game in eight years, and there was a lot of trust that was built on both sides."

Bulluck suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in December and signed with his hometown Giants as a free agent in July. The Lions never showed serious interest in signing a player whose rehab lasted through the summer."
