"The Lions bolstered their running back corps by trading for Eagles running back Ronnie Brown before Tuesday's 4 p.m. trade deadline.

The Eagles get running back Jerome Harrison and a seventh-round pick in the 2013 draft.

It's Lions policy not to comment on roster moves until they become official, which will require both players to pass a physical, but the trade was announced on the Eagles website.

The trade comes two days after Lions starting running back Jahvid Best suffered a concussion in the fourth quarter of the team's 25-19 loss to the 49ers Sunday.

Best's status for Sunday's game against Atlanta is still in doubt, though Lions coach Jim Schwartz didn't rule out the possibility in an interview with 97.1 FM Tuesday."
