Leon Hall has said all of this offseason that he wants to be back on the field in time for training camp, and he's well on his way to accomplishing that goal.

As the Bengals approach the NFL Draft, there probably won't be a bigger acquisition in this year's draft class than having a healthy Leon Hall back and ready for the start of training camp.

Speaking to the media today, Hall maintained that his rehab is still on schedule and he's targeting the beginning of training camp as his return to the field:

"Ever since I was able to get out of the cast and start rehabbing we've kind of taken that approach to it," Hall said. "When I get to training camp, everything in between was to make sure not only that my Achilles is ready but that the rest of my body was conditioned. The last thing I want to do is go in there and be a step behind some other guys as far as conditioning or how they are physically."

Hall said he's now able to do most movement-related activities that involve putting pressure on the previously-torn Achilles, the second time now he's had this injury, though this one being the opposite side.
