"LeBron James might end up in a Cavaliers jersey again some day. But he wasn't wearing one Friday.

Led by James, Cleveland's former two-time MVP who was booed loudly upon introduction and for most of the game whenever the ball was in his hands, the Heat built a 34-point by the third quarter and capped its season-long, six-game road trip with its fifth consecutive double-digit victory, 111-87, at Quicken Loans Arena.

James finished with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and sat quietly alongside Dwyane Wade for all of the fourth quarter. The Heat (24-7) return home to face Orlando at 3:30 p.m. Sunday on ABC. The Magic beat the Heat to open the road trip.

"Our guys were looking forward to this nine-day road trip as an opportunity to grow. We took a step forward in the last five games," said Heat coach Erik Spoelstra, whose team has won its last five games by a combined 94 points.

"While we were winning before this road trip we weren't necessarily playing to our top potential and not necessarily taking big steps forward to improve. But I think this trip we did improve. The guys feel it. It's tangible in that locker room."

Wade scored 18 of his 22 points in the first half, and made his first three-pointer of the season as the Heat built a 63-38 halftime lead."
