LeBron James had made a definitive statement. He would put the freeze on all free-agency talks until they became relevant once the NBA season had passed and James could actually make a decision on where he would play basketball for the next several years.

He's come out of his slumber apparently. Recent speculation had James considering a return to the Cavaliers where he would once again play in his home state and win over the fans who turned on him when he bolted for Miami.

James' recent comments to Men's Week don't directly hint at where he would like to play but they do reveal a preference.

“I miss the slower pace back home but have grown used to my new city’s little perks like fresh fish and sweet fruit” James said according to Men's Week speaking of where he'll settle in retirement. “It will definitely be someplace warm. I don’t want to go back to cold winters.”
