"Barring a big surprise, center David Krejci will sit out tonight's game against the Carolina Hurricanes with what the team has termed a core injury. This will be Krejci's third straight game on the shelf after he was injured a week ago in practice.

Krejci returned to the ice for a brief solo skate yesterday at Ristuccia Arena before practice, but don't expect an immediate return to action.
