Kostitsyn steamed at Habs coach

"Another Kostitsyn brother could be falling out of favour with the Montreal Canadiens.

Or vice versa.

"I do not have a good relationship with my coach (Jacques Martin)," Andrei Kostitsyn has told the Belarusian website Goals.by.

The 26-year-old burst into prominence with 26 goals and 27 assists in 2007-08, but has production has slipped in the following three seasons.

That decline, it seems, is Martin's fault.

Kostitsyn complained of being pushed into a secondary role, with occasional duty on the fourth line.

The right winger said he tried several times to discuss his issues with Martin, but was told the coach "did not care."

Asked about his prospects for the coming season, Kostitsyn said: "It's hard for me to guess."

He signed a one-year, $3,25 million contract with Montreal in June.

Kostitsyn's brother, Sergei, 24, also had issues with the Canadiens, which led to him spending part of the 2009-10 season in the AHL before being dealt to Nashville last year."
