Arsene Wenger is keen on Corentin Tolisso, with the French midfielder is set to leave Lyon this summer.

Arsenal boss Wenger is planning a major overhaul of his squad, looking to strengthen the defence, in midfield and their range of attacking options, and is a long-term admirer of the 22-year-old.

The Gunners are already hot on the trail of Malaga's Spain international midfielder Pablo Fornals, 21, and Tolisso is another target, although Lyon would want in excess of £30million to part with him.

Tolisso is ready to quit Lyon to strengthen his chances of making France’s squad for the World Cup next summer, and Wenger is keeping close tabs on the situation.

Arsenal have already agreed a deal to sign Bosnia international defender Sead Kolasinac on a free transfer from German club Schalke.
