One day after noting that the Washington Wizards attempted to acquire Jameer Nelson, scribe John Denton tweeted another NBA trade rumor involving the Orlando Magic's veteran point guard: the New York Knicks, says Denton, attempted "to unload Raymond Felton on them" in exchange for Nelson at the NBA trade deadline.

The Knicks didn't find any takers for their own veteran point guard, who is averaging 10.4 points and six assists per game on 40.3 percent shooting in his ninth season. On Tuesday, or five days after the deadline, he was arrested and charged with three gun-related crimes, including two felonies.
