"The Knicks are no longer the most valuable team in the NBA — but their 19 percent increase in value springboards them ahead of the Mets to become the fourth most valuable pro sports franchise in the city.

The Knicks, according to Forbes magazine, saw their value grow by 19 percent to $780 million but were leapfrogged by the L.A. Lakers after the West Coast team's value soared 40 percent to $900 million.

The Mets, according to Forbes, are worth $747 million."
