" Though Ian Kinsler has gotten a clean bill of health, he's still not ready to go on a rehab assignment. He worked at full speed again Wednesday, but he still has things to prove before he can resume game action.

"He's going to work for us and we'll make a decision probably by the weekend," manager Ron Washington said. "The only thing we can go by is how he shows up the next day. We're trying to work him hard to get him through the soreness period as quick as we can."

Washington said the key for Kinsler is getting the lower half of his body stronger. The Rangers still want to see him run the bases, start and stop and get in more swings in the cages. "
