Chicago White Sox third baseman Kevin Youkilis left Wednesday's 8-2 win with what the team described as a sprained left ankle in the fourth inning.

Manager Robin Ventura indicated that Youkilis sustained the injury rounding first base on a third-inning RBI single. Ventura said he didn't think the injury was serious.

"When I got the hit, I was watching the ball and didn't have a feel for where the bag is," Youkilis said. "When I got to the bag, I just turned my left foot and just rolled right over the bag. Wasn't smart on my part."
