"Kevin Kolb wants the Philadelphia Eagles to trade him and allow him to become a starting QB when the lockout ends.

But he understands there's no guarantee that will happen. And, after showing up to work out with Eagles teammates on Thursday, Kolb vowed he would be content if he returns as a backup to Michael Vick again next season.

"If the situation (being the Eagles' backup) can't be avoided, I'm not going to sit there and be a turd," Kolb told the Philadelphia Inquirer.
