"The NBA Western Conference All-Stars will start an all-Oklahoma tandem at forward.
Fans made the Thunder's Kevin Durant and former OU standout Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers the leading vote-getters at the position.
"Thank u guys for voting me into the all star game, I really appreciate it!!'' Durant (@KDTrey5) tweeted.
Results were released Thursday night during the TNT pregame show.
"It's an honor to be on that list," Griffin told TNT's David Aldridge. "A lot of guys deserve it, so I definitely am happy about it."
It marks the second straight season Durant has been voted on as a starter and the third straight time he was selected for the game. Coaches voted him on as a reserve in 2010.
Durant captured the most votes at forward (1,345,566), and the second-most votes for the West team behind LA Lakers guard Kobe Bryant (1,555,479).
Griffin received the second-most votes (876,451) at forward behind Durant and will appear in his second straight All-Star Game and his first as a starter. Griffin was selected as a reserve for last year's game in his home arena the Staples Center."
