"Following his team's methodical 109-94 victory over the Houston Rockets on Friday night, Thunder coach Scott Brooks said he believed All-Star forward Kevin Durant had perhaps his most complete game of the season.
Brooks wasn't the only team member who thought that.
"I told Kevin that same thing myself," OKC center Kendrick Perkins said.
Durant finished with 26 points, seven rebounds, three assists and one steal. What's particularly interesting, those numbers are almost precisely Durant's season averages so far in each category.
Durant's best game actually equated to an average game for him.
Such is life when you're a two-time All-Star and two-time NBA scoring champ at age 23.
The biggest difference was Durant assembled these numbers in just 28 minutes while shooting 10 for 16 from the field before a sellout crowd of 18,203 inside Chesapeake Energy Arena."
