"Kevin Durant's exhibition tour of the country will bring him to Dallas on Saturday night as a surprise late entrant in the Josh Howard Celebrity All-Star Basketball Game.

Durant adds significant star power to the charity event previously headlined by Dallas native LaMarcus Aldridge of the Portland Trail Blazers and Washington Wizards guard John Wall and Howard.

The Oklahoma City Thunder superstar has crisscrossed the United States to appear in various players' charity games, perhaps more than any other NBA player during the lockout.

According to Howard's publicist, the addition of Durant had been in the works for some time and recent conversations between Howard and Durant finally got the All-Star to commit.

The 6 p.m. CT game, benefiting the Josh Howard Foundation, will be played at the P.C. Cobb Center in Fair Park. The intimate Dallas Independent School District facility seats about 2,200."
