Cowher's squads went to the playoffs every year, even made it to the Super Bowl in his fourth year only to lose to Dallas. When I left the Burgh and relocated to Philadelphia, I still watched Cowher's teams from afar. Between 1998 and 2000 the Steelers were absent from the postseason, and fans wanted to run Cowher out of town in a hurry.
