Hard to believe that only three short years ago, Ottawa Senators defenceman Erik Karlsson was a roomie at Daniel Alfredsson's house and a babysitter to the the captain's children.
After signing his seven-year, $45.5 million contract on Tuesday, Karlsson could now buy a mansion for each of Alfredsson's four sons.
At the very least, the defenceman is treating Alfredsson to a nice supper.
"He owed me a few dinners from before," Alfredsson joked before Wednesday's award ceremonies.
