If there's a silver lining to James van Riemsdyk having suffered a broken left foot during Thursday's 6-3 win over the New York Islanders, Scott Hartnell's the one to ask about it.

"You look for a blessing in disguise," Hartnell said. "He'll be rested and ready to go come playoff time."

There's no timetable for a return for the Flyers' winger, who blocked a shot from the point by Islanders defenseman Milan Jurcina in the first period of Thursday's game. But it isn't unrealistic to think he could be out the rest of the regular season.
