Interest from Juventus is complicating Tottenham's move for Porto defender Ricardo Pereira.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino wants to add a right-back to compete with Kieran Trippier and Pereira is high on the list.

Tottenham had scouted the Portugal defender and Porto were confident their £22million asking price would be met, especially with Manchester City closing in on a record-equalling £50m move for Kyle Walker.

But Pereira's Portuguese agent is thought to have been uncertain at the direction of negotiations, with confusion about who would represent the player in the deal.
