Our weekly look at the Detroit Tigers:

Who's hot: Jhonny Peralta struggled through a sub-par season in 2012. But with the 2013 season nearing its one-quarter mark, Peralta is hitting .315 and has helped stretch out the lineup for the Tigers. Peralta is hitting .382 (13-for-34) with one home run, five RBIs, five walks and nine runs scored in nine games this month.
Who's not: Austin Jackson has been slowed a bit by hamstring issues. His production at the plate has been down, too. Jackson went 3-for-23 (.130) with eight strikeouts in five games prior to sitting out Sunday's game due to a sore right hamstring.

Injury update: Octavio Dotel (right elbow inflammation) remains on the disabled list and hasn't pitched in three weeks. Phil Coke (groin) returned to the Tigers from the disabled list over the weekend and pitched Sunday.
