The TSN reporter wanted to know if the big Finn was motivated, in recent times, by fear of spending a night or two in the press box (like David Moss, Mikael Backlund, Matt Stajan or Curtis Glencross.)
"No" Jokinen said, with perfect deadpan delivery. "I heard they're going to put you on TSN 2 though.
"That's the only rumour I've heard."

After everyone in earshot stopped laughing, Jokinen (trying to stifle an infectious case of the giggles) openly discussed the latest motivational technique deployed by Brent Sutter.
With an excess of healthy forwards, the head coach parks three people in the press box every night. Craig Conroy is a staple in that department. So is defenceman Brendan Mikkelson.
The identity of the third unfortunate soul rotates according to job performance in the eyes of the coaches.
"It's a competition right now," Jokinen said. "Any game we've been winning this year, we pretty much have every single guy playing well and that's what you need in this league. If you want to win every night, you need all four lines going and that's been the secret for us for the last four or five games."
