The Eagles target at wide receiver on Day 2 may not be Cody Latimer or Marqise Lee after all.

The Eagles may have a wide receiver target that is a bit off-the-radar. The Eagles really like Vanderbilt wide receiver Jordan Matthews, a source tells Bleeding Green Nation. Matthews is among the plethora of receiver talent available in the second round of the NFL Draft.

Matthews, like first round pick Marcus Smith, fits the Eagles character and size models. He has size at 6-foot-3 and 212 pounds with huge hands (10 3/8 inches). He has speed for his size (4.46 seconds in the forty-yard dash) and is a strong blocker, who put up 21 reps on the bench press at the NFL Combine. He was also extremely productive at the college level, as he is the SEC's all-time leading receiver and was selected to two consecutive All-SEC first teams. The talented receiver was also a four-year starter at Vanderbilt and a team captain.
