When it comes to running back DeMarco Murray and defensive end DeMarcus Ware returning to action the Cowboys will take it slow with both players owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday on his radio show.

Murray was inactive for Sunday’s 17-3 win at Philadelphia due to a knee injury. The former Oklahoma standout sprained the medial collateral ligament in his left knee in the first half of the win over Washington two weeks ago.

“We hope that Murray will get to practice this week but we don’t know until we see (how he is)” Jones told Dallas’ KRLD-FM.
Jones said that both Murray and defensive end DeMarcus Ware who was sidelined against the Eagles with a strained right thigh left over from the Washington game did some running Monday.

“(They) ran good Monday so we’ll see how it goes” Jones said. “We will be guarded as to how we bring all of these guys along.”
