"Andruw Jones capped one of his most satisfying weeks with the White Sox in memorable style.
The once-struggling Jones went 7-for-21 on the Sox's homestand, highlighted by his 400th career home run Sunday in a 15-5 win over the Royals.
Just eight days ago, manager Ozzie Guillen admitted he was shocked that Jones' average dipped to .190 during a 3-for-44 slump. But a sore left knee suffered by Carlos Quentin gave Jones a chance to regain his stroke.
Jones cranked his 400th homer off Anthony Lerew, starting in place of Zack Greinke, who had a sore right shoulder. Jones' homer came during a seven-run third in which the Sox tied a franchise record with four home runs in an inning."
