Detroit Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy says that big man Jon Leuer will receive injections in his sprained ankle and will return to the court in three-to-five weeks, according to Rod Beard of The Detroit News. Leuer has not played since back on October 31 due to the lingering setback.

In the eight games in which he has played this season, Leuer has averaged 5.4 points and four rebounds over 17 minutes per game while shooting 41.7 percent from the floor and 86.7 percent from the free-throw line. The 28-year-old is in his second year with the Pistons after signing with the team as a free agent in July 2016. Last season, Leuer played in 75 games and made 34 starts, registering 10.2 points and 5.4 boards across 25.9 minutes per outing. He made 48 percent of his field-goal attempts, 29.3 percent of his three-point tries and 86.7 percent of his foul shots.
