It seems like everyone either loves Johnny Manziel or dislikes the idea of "Johnny Football" coming to Cleveland to play for the Browns.
Like him or not, the Browns need a quarterback. A player that can greatly improve the team instantly and round out the offense with the likes of Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron. What people don't know is that Manziel has a northeast Ohio connection.

George Whitfield, Jr. is Manziel's quarterback coach. He's from Massillon, Ohio and played for the Tigers back in the mid-1990s. He has worked with top NFL quarterbacks Andrew Luck and Cam Newton, helping turn them into stars the the professional level.

Whitfield talks with cleveland.com's Glenn Moore about Manziel's combine times, his work ethic, if Manziel would fit with the Browns, the importance of his height and the negative perception surrounding Manziel.
