Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians says that wide receiver John Brown and defensive tackle Josh Mauro may both miss time due to their respective injuries, according to Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.

Brown is dealing with turf toe. The 27-year-old has played in eight games this season, catching 19 passes for 271 yards and two touchdowns in what has been a disappointing year for him overall. Brown, who played his collegiate football at Pittsburg State, was originally selected by the Cardinals in the third round (91st pick overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft.

He enjoyed a strong rookie campaign, hauling in 48 receptions for 696 yards and five touchdowns. Brown then went on to have a spectacular 2015-16 season, snaring 65 balls for 1,003 yards and seven scores as it looked like he was about to develop into one of the better wide outs in the game.
