Louis van Gaal's "ambition" of coaching a Premier League club is reportedly "a done deal."

According to Dutch legend and ex-Chelsea manager Ruud Gullit, who spoke with BBC 5, Van Gaal has already met with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy and will take over as Spurs boss after the World Cup in June.

"I know for sure he was at Van Gaal's house, the [Spurs] chairman," Gullit said. "I think it's a done deal, but you never know."

Van Gaal recently stated his desire to coach in the Premier League upon leaving his post as Dutch national team manager after the World Cup. Having won domestic leagues with both Ajax and AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands, Barcelona in Spain, and Bayern Munich in Germany, Van Gaal also made it clear he wants to "win a major trophy in another country."
