J-Mychal Reese, most recently with North Texas, has received a medical waiver and is free to transfer, a source told FanRag Sports on Friday. Per NCAA transfer rules, since having graduated, Reese can commit to another university and be eligible to play in the upcoming season.

Reese is actually a former top 100 prospect out of the 2012 recruiting class. A three-time Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-State talent in the state of Texas in high school, he originally started his collegiate career playing for Texas A&M.
