The Minnesota Timberwolves will have to make do without Jimmy Butler for a second straight night.

The star forward, after being ruled out Tuesday’s game against the Indiana Pacers, will also miss Wednesday’s contest against the Detroit Pistons due to an upper respiratory infection.

Butler was a late scratch from Tuesday’s game, which had few highlights from Minnesota’s side.

The Wolves needed 41 points in the second quarter to erase a 13-point hole from the first but were battered in the second half, being outscored by 23 points en route to a 130-107 loss at home. Every player on the Minnesota roster finished with a negative plus/minus rating while all five starters were between minus-16 and minus-21.
