Raymond Felton’s future is in doubt and the Knicks just cut Beno Udrih, so the team figures to be in the market for a point guard.

And while Jimmer Fredette is reportedly close to being bought out in Sacramento, he may not be a fit at the Garden despite drawing some interest from the Knicks.

The Knicks have yet to comment on Felton’s situation after gun charges were brought against him early Tuesday morning, but if Felton is out, they will need a point guard to pair with Pablo Prigioni.

Fredette, who rose to stardom at BYU but has disappointed since being selected 10th overall in 2011, likely won’t do the Knicks much good in that department.
